Sarah Douglas & Nathan

December 11, 2021… the most dreamy day in Knoxville, Tennessee celebrating Sarah Douglas and Nathan. From the moment we arrived at The Standard, we knew this would be a special day, and it did not disappoint. From the beautiful flowers, to the raindrops on the window panes, to such evident love in the air, Sarah Douglas and Nathan’s wedding day seemed to be straight from a fairy tale. 

We love a big wedding party and Sarah Douglas and Nathan had just that! Cheering them on and hyping them up all day, it was a joy to watch the way that their friends and family loved them so well and were excited for this day alongside them.  With the best friends and family by their sides, the morning was relaxed and lighthearted as the couple prepared for their day. Soon, it was time for Sarah Douglas to step into her dress and as her bridesmaids, her dad, and eventually, her groom saw her for the first time, they were all in awe of her beauty. As she twirled and showed off her pockets and hugged her people, she really was such a stunning bride with joy beaming from within. 

Sarah Douglas and Nathan took a stroll up the street under their umbrellas to Knox Whiskey Works and, before the rest of the day unfolded, they had a little fun taking a shot together and being cheered on by passers-by. 

As their ceremony began, the officiant prayed that the Lord would be present in every part of their ceremony, reception, and the rest of their lives together, and it was clear that He was present throughout the evening. The joy and love that we got to experience could have only been from the Lord and we were so thankful to get to see a glimpse of His Goodness and Faithfulness in the lives of Sarah Douglas and Nathan. As they were pronounced husband and wife, a giddy bride and groom could hardly wait to kiss one another and head back down the aisle as one. The crowd erupted as they were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Elliott. 

Next, it was time for the party! Through the toasts, the dances, and the joy and excitement in the room, it was again so evident that Sarah Douglas and Nathan had a room full of friends and family who were supportive and who will continue to cheer them on in the next chapter of their lives together. The joy, laughter, and dancing lasted into the night as everyone celebrated the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Elliott.
