Carley & Carter

Carley Webster and Carter Dunlap… a love story for the ages. It’s always special to film a wedding and catch a glimpse of how God has woven two stories into one, but this one, we’ve had the honor of watching over the past eight years. We watched as Carley and Carter were best friends in high school and eventually started dating years later. I (Katie) got to have a front row seat to watch Carley become who she is today as her Young Life leader in high school, and what a joy to watch her be pursued by a man who pursues Jesus first. A man who will point her to Jesus for the rest of her life as she does the same for him. What a joy and honor to watch this love story unfold. 

October 13, 2024… just the beginning of the rest of their lives together, and the next chapter of their story. Surrounded by the sweetest (and most fun) group of friends, Carley was the most relaxed bride I’ve ever seen… so confident, joyful, and peaceful going into her big day. As her mom and sister helped her step into her white dress, she stepped into the role of the bride, effortlessly. Her bridesmaids all admired her beauty, and then her sweet dad wept as he saw his little girl as a bride and prepared to give her away. 

As the ceremony began, Carter’s nerves built as he had not seen his bride before she walked down the aisle. As Carley walked down the hill and to her groom, emotion flooded Carter’s face. As the couple exchanged the vows they wrote themselves, the similarities of what they vowed to one another was uncanny… no one could have been surprised. It is so evident that Carter and Carley were made for one another. 

The ceremony ended and the celebration began. The couple was well celebrated by friends and family into the evening before a sparkler exit and a getaway in a vintage car. 

Carter and Carley, we love you and we are cheering you on forever. You know this, but we’ll never stop reminding you. It is truly an honor to have watched your love story come to life and to get to capture your wedding day on film.
