The hills of east Tennessee and lush green trees of Spring made the perfect backdrop for Hayley and Asher’s wedding day at Walnut Grove in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The couple had a beautiful, intimate ceremony where their family and friends celebrated the new Drehers.  

When Hayley’s father saw her for the first time in her dress, the first words out of his mouth were, “You look just like your mom.” Hayley’s mother was remembered throughout the day in the sweetest ways. Hayley chose a dress based on making sure her mom’s handwriting, which is tattooed on her shoulder, could be seen—“Soon you will be in my arms.” The couple and their families also remembered the bride’s mother with a beautiful floral arrangement and photo that sat on the front row during the ceremony.

The couple saw each other for the first time as Hayley walked down the aisle to her groom. Asher’s joy flooded his eyes as he watched his bride walk toward him and toward the rest of their lives together. Hayley’s dress and her natural bouquet went beautifully against the backdrop of the mountains and the greenery-filled gazebo where the couple exchanged vows. During their ceremony, Hayley and Asher chose to wash one another’s feet as a symbol of how they would vow to love and serve each other and their heavenly Father for the rest of their lives.

As their ceremony came to a close, the celebration was just beginning. Their family and friends celebrated the couple with heart-felt toasts, laughter, and dancing for the rest of the evening. As the night ended, the couple ran through a tunnel of sparklers and Asher embraced and dipped his bride as they ran into the greatest adventure together.

Hayley and Asher, we hope marriage is the best adventure you’ve ever been on!  We are rooting for you, and we are so grateful we got to capture your day on film.
